Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Sounds great Rhosyn .
I didn't have plans today so was just going to wave the cleaner over carpet then relax . I was just finishing when I fell over my own feet and landed on the floor right on my knee . I was rolling around trying to get up but my knees wouldn't cooperate. I phoned out handimans home number and luckily his wife was in and got a message to him
So embarrassing ,but he managed to get me up so there is a use for a strong man lol
I'm sure I will be aching later so taking it easy now xxx

Sun is trying to come out here as well
I've got a routine apt in Morriston later. My daughter is off so she is going to drive me. I'm not keen on driving too far these days
Funny thing is since my fall onto my knee my hip is ok but hopefully they will take a look

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Back home after a weekend down in Gloucestershire celebrating my cousin's 80th birthday (which is turning into a month long marathon by the sound of it). Lovely dinner with all her family (who are all three feet taller) yesterday and youngest son dropped me off on Saturday morning and picked me up this afternoon so I didn't have to drive. He was taking his lady to Brighton to run the marathon (!) as you do. He also took his bike, no running for him! Sian was disappointed with her time, but I think she's a heroine for even attempting it!

Horrible day here, so much for the weather improving this week. Hope to goodness it's better tomorrow, I'm going on a coach trip to Picton Castle near Haverfordwest. Won't be able to see out of the windows if it's like this!
