Surely you can't be that far away from a major city - what about hospitals etc?

My local one - The theatre Royal in Nottingham is as good as any in the West End...

All our hospitals are either in Derry or Belfast

We do have a local hospital for delivering babies, out patients and minor surgery, but break a bone or need eye treatment it’s 40 miles to Derry, heart surgery and cancer treatment, burns plastics etc - Belfast - 40 miles the other way. Late MIL had to travel 150 miles round trip daily for chemo for two weeks

We have a real theatre in Derry and one in Belfast. There was one in Armagh but that I think closed. Not sure if there’s one in Lisburn or not as that’s so close to Belfast

I used to love going down to London to see a show then stay overnight in a hotel.
I went to see Riverdance three times and never tired of it!

I love going to the theatre though I don't go as often as I used to.
