Exactly. Getting up at 6am to get my son off to school, packing lunches, buying video games, giving "you've got to work harder to get that grade up" lectures, etc etc etc.

But I don't mind. Because all too soon these days will be gone and I know I'll miss them.

I completely agree. And I do my best to cherish them all. I love that kid more than life itself. I'd die for him and I'd kill to protect him. And that's just the way it is

Ours are grown up now - great to see them make their own way and start their own family
