I haven't been back home since 2013, my passport has expired, I doubt I will bother going again. I can't say holidays do it for me, and besides which I have to keep a watching brief where my husband is concerned, it isn't fair to lumber our kids with him.

Sorry, Tara, I forgot.
When I lived in Jersey, they called the people that lived in Guernsey, Guernsey donkeys, and the Guernsey people called those in Jersey, Jersey cows.

I prefer Jersey as it is more lively, I am a party kind of girl.
Guernsey the smaller Isle was too quiet for me.
However, both have lovely Summers.

I remember going on holiday to St Agnes & Jersey as a child & older too, until I decided I was too old to have a holiday with my Parents & younger brother. We did each place alternately, my Parents were creatures of habit.

We I was very small we used to go to St Ive's in Cornwall.
