What a great set of interesting photographs.

That hardware shop looks amazing. I like the headline about the best man marrying the bride by mistake and also it's interesting to see that picnickers were no more tidy in those days than they are now.

Fabulous photos and, if there is an exhibition, I think school children should be taken to see them.
Modern history is interesting for the young and that interest would be enhanced by seeing what things were like in those days.

What great photos!

I have a box full of old photos that belonged to my aunt and uncle who died aged 97 and 98 in the 1990s. I love looking through them, it’s like looking at another world

What a find, and thanks newcomer for telling us about it. I find these snapshots in time quite fascinating.

I love old photos, and have shown some of the ones on OFF that we found under my Gran's bed when she died. Pics from the farming community she came from in South Gloucestershire, pics from the trenches during WW1, and pics from the family farm when she lived in Oz.
