Morning all. What a dark dismal morning. Oh well, only another week and then the days will start to get longer and lighter!

Pottering about and catching up day today after hectic yesterday. The Christingle service was lovely but I couldn't take the little boys as they were at a rugby party! When we'd all had our Christingles we lined the aisle of the Church and the Vicar lit all the candles. We turned out the lights and sang Away in a Manger (unaccompanied) just by candlelight - lump in the throat time............

What do you think of the Strictly result? Much as I love Anton and Katie, think Anita should have gone through to the final.

Dreary and wet here so just ran around with hoover and an afternoon in by the fire,
Daughter and S-I-l called yesterday and brought me some Lidl Xmas goodies but I don't think they will last until then lol
I only skim through Strictly Sue but they all seem good to me

Just finished writing my cards........need more stamps tho......will have to go out tomorrow and get more.....this dratted ligament damage makes walking difficult as well..

I never watch Strictly. I need a few more special cards and more stamps will get them today and finish the decorations.

Just come in from my pub-lunch . It stayed dry for me to get a few bits in Mumbles but the heavens opened and the wind is fierce now.
Glad to be in by the fire

No rain here today but quite office windy. Post office was quite busy with everybody sending parcels and cards abroad was glad to get out.

Up at daft o'clock this morning.Had my hair done yesterday,dog's turn for a haircut today so that's two things to cross off my list(I have about 3 of those on the go!)Whilst he's at the groomers will do some shopping.

Afternoon all. Just spent a merry half hour wrestling with the floor lamp - trying to extract the blown halogen bulb and finding its details to get a replacement. Good old Amazon - at least, I hope it's the right one!

Great evening last night at our Craft Club dinner in the local pub. Super meal, lots of laughs and a pressie from Santa, can't be bad.

Just finishing packing presents and writing the last few cards.......
