My granddaughter dismantled my Christmas tree on Thursday.Had taken the rest of decorations down on Tuesday,now will have to wait for son no1 to put them up in the attic.January is an expensive month for me-car and house insurance due," shopping" around for cheapest deals. Also car service due end of the month but will delay that until end of January pay day.
Bit of sun showing this morning but for how long?

Welcome Rhian to our merry band of Welshmen/Welshwomen.What dreadful weather. Sister hoping to return from Isle of Man tomorrow but ferries have been cancelled because of weather. Sitting besides Michaels bed listening to him snore! He's exhausted so many changes of staff.
Not a good start to the year. My lovely aunt passed away yesterday. They had just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in October. Sudden and unexpected although she had recently been in hospital.
Invited to my neighbour's for dinner last night. It was lovely instead of sitting looking at 4 walls with a ready meal.
Spent all morning waiting for RAC to come and inspect Michaels adapted mobility vehicle , to see if it's safe to drive. Gave up in the end and hopefully they are coming first thing tomorrow.

Hi Rhian and welcome I'm from Scotland and always come in here for a chat. I've met a few of the Welsh members when they travelled up to Scotland a few years ago. Celyn I'm like you I'm fed up with ready meals and sometimes eat out to break the boredom of them.

When I first saw the group name I was worried I wouldn't be allowed in it because I'm from north east Wales!
Clearly I was fine when there are honorary members, fellow Celts from Scotland here already
