Re: Homemade Soups

Looks like a good recipe Solo....When do you add the actual fish pieces,is it at the end when you add the sweetcorn too?

I will copy the recipe and keep it for later

Add the fish and sweetcorn at the end Aysa and just give it a few minutes then switch off and let it continue cooking in just the heat, That way the fish pieces stay firm

Re: Homemade Soups

I made some mushroom soup earlier. I put the stock in first then stuck the rest in, turned it on, and 20 minutes later I had my soup.
I had some crusty bread with it and it went down a treat.

No joke Aysa. It's a delicious light soup

Chicken Stock
Dash of Sesame oil
Egg Beaten
Spring onions
2 tbl Peas
White pepper

Bring the chicken broth to boil, add white pepper, and sesame oil . Pour the beaten egg slowly in a steady stream stirring slowly in one direction to keep the soup moving, Gently stir in the peas. Ladle into serving bowls; sprinkle with sliced spring onion and serve. (you can add shredded chicken/mushrooms to this)

  • Cover in vegetable or chicken stock and simmer until tender.
  • Whizz up with a stick blender.

Slurp up and enjoy!
