Help with naming red apples

this apple tree was here when we moved in, but no name tag on it. So all you gardeners out there can you name the type of apple please

I only know the names of apples ive seen in the supermarket ,not experienced enough to be able to help you properly sorry...could be Pink lady or Gala,but what do I know lol

Looking up on the internet thee are several that look similar so it is really guesswork

Now if my mum was able to see them close up she could tell you straightaway as she worked most of her life on an apple fruit farm

no probs Mups. Wife said they were not quite ripe last week ,so on that basis I recon they would be ready later this week or early next week. None Have fallen yet
