Good Morning Folks. Another frosty clear day. The 6x6 has to go for its MOT this morning. A 50 mile round trip due to only certain places can test them . Just to add to the fun ... there's no heater fitted!! Brrr. It's 43yrs old and in better nick than I am Plenty of layers on instead. (Resists temptation to say Winter drawers on!) No May, I didn't take a wee flask out on the hill yesterday. Saved the contents for the evening !

Good morning everybody another cold frosty one here. Mike good luck with the M O T this morning. Hairdressers for me this morning then a trip into town for some lunch and a look round the shops.

Good Afternoon Each,just back from a late walk and was a bit wary of the frozen pavements,don't fancy falling on My Derrier...again!

Have had a bit of worry with Eldest Daughter as She had a wee 'episode' while cycling in London at the weekend,She felt one side of Her face go numb,and She became confused going up in the lift from the train station,Her Partner and My 2 Grandkids said She was acting oddly all day,but They mostly just laughed about it,when She phoned and told Me about it I insisted She seen the Doc',..result.. She's had an MRI scan of Her head & neck which was fine,no sign of a mini stroke..and is being fitted with an ECG to moniter Her heart beat which is erratic..blood tests showed Her cholesterol was really high...She's a slim,fit,non smoking vegetarian!!,...10 out of 10 for the NHS for acting so quickly,and I'm just so happy there's nothing serious to worry about,...I hope...See Ya All later.x

Glad that your Daughter took your sound advice and went for tests asap. Yes, 10/10 for the NHS. Strange, and a little concerning is the high cholesterol reading. Slim, fit, non smoking vegetarian .... it doesn't figure? So glad she's otherwise ok. I passed my test (MOT) ok this morning. Phew !! Small beer I know.

Aye that's what I thought Mike,but She does love Her red wine & cheese and She's also an avid baker,so She may be advised to change Her habits,

Thanks May. I luuuuv cheese, both industrial "mousetrap" and speciality cheeses, AND I always have a glass of Red Wine as an apperatif whilst throwing dinner together. Along with the fact that I drinks loads of milk, maybe I should should get my cholesterol checked ?? Mmmmm. Manana ?

Glad to hear your daughter had tests done May . At least since they know the cholesterol is high they can do something about it .

Still freezing cold here . Walked my dogs at the forest and then Ardwell pond which was partially frozen .
Then had a nice coffee with a friend . My friend also brought me a nice bunch of flowers which was a lovely surprise .
