Yebbut...I'm only grown-up on the OUTSIDE,alice.Inside [according to Yes Dear]I'm nearly eleven.I still make catapults,climb trees,race the pooches into the sea [Yes Dear thinks I'm mad because I swim in the sea...well,what's it FOR?] I ping tins off the fence with my air rifle,put Smartie tubes on the cat's legs.....and suddenly,there I was,pootling home having just taken a truck to Ghent-munching a Werthers! As if I was a fully-subscribed responsible adult...

Oh,Lord,no alice! I could never not ever harm anything!The cat just lies there snoring as I slide Smartie tubes onto his legs [usually it's Bugger-off-cat,the tabby one] then just SOOOO condescendingly,as only cats can,yawns,wobbles up,and does a 'robot cat' walk across the bed,all the time thinking "I am SO superior to you,you utter pleb". I'll then,having laughed like a drain,take 'em off him and return to my daily struggle to at least appear to be sensible....
