Not good tbh. Had to cancel Christmas with family tomorrow as she is too ill. I managed to get a doctor to call yesterday (on the phone) and listened while she denied everything I had told them at the surgery. Made me feel like a fraud.
'Do you have a fever?' - 'No'
Despite the fact that I was placing ice packs on her wrists during the night to cool her down.
She was told to take paracetemol which made her sick within a few minutes so we are now left with just steam to do the job??

Oh No! Silly girl. Why on earth did she deny everything??My old Mum used to do exactly the same and it is soooooooooo frustrating for the person trying to help them.
I do hope she turns the corner and improves very soon because it might be harder to get help over Christmas if not. So sorry Dongy. x

LD, I am also sorry that your lady is ill. I know it is sad to miss Christmas but better that she gets some rest..... you can always have Christmas in the summer with a barbie like the Aussies do.Look after her and, don't forget, if you need advice many on here can give serious advice if she doesn't improve.
