Cant quite make out what the box is on the ceiling Jazzi but if its electrical then I advise you to turn the power off!

The plumber is coming at 4pm today Patsy. I hope he can fix the new leak, then I will get a mutual date from him to repair the old damage, as agreed with the landlady.

It's the extractor fan, EZ, and I've just checked...the switch on the wall (almost near the ceiling) has already been turned to the OFF position.

The dripping seems to have eased, but I have plenty of photos, and a video clip, to show him when arrives at 4.

I am particularly concerned because of being away this weekend.

That's good Jazzi. Don't turn it on again until its completely dried out or you may well blow a fuse. No not yours..the one in the fusebox!
