Turn up your heating tonight!!!

Blimey the temperatures will be plummeting overnight, so please make sure you're all warm indoors.

And take care if going out.

That's what I do except it is a second pair of thermal tights and another jumper. I don't mind cold and dry, it's the constant wet and damp I hate .

Re: Turn up your heating tonight!!!

I hate being cold and put my thermostat up to 21 in the evening . My kids tell me that's too high ! Sometimes I turn off the heating and turn on the gas fire . My lounge has the stairs in and the heat goes up onto the landing so I keep the bedroom doors closed .

What temperature do you turn your heating to ?

Susan I have my room thermostat set to 24 degrees only when its really cold like now...usually I have it on around 19 though.
I really feel the cold especially in my hands and feet ,and thats with wearing two pairs of socks and resting them on a hot water bottle too lol

Re: Turn up your heating tonight!!!

Hi

I have a heat pump, which runs all the time and my house is massively insulated, so no problem in winter at all.

Most of the house is set at 18C, bedrooms at 15C, but my kitchen is set at 25C, because that is where my fish tank is.

I have more problems keeping my house cool in summer than warm in winter.
