Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Had a surprisingly dry walk this morning,it poured down in the night, the river in the village is in full flow.
It's sad when an old friend dies Jac.I've lost three old friends in the last 18months.
Went to a friend's granddaughter's engagment party last night.Didn't stay long,too noisy!
No plans today. Will probably watch the men's final this afternoon.I tend to support the underdog even tho' he's up against Murray.

Lexi and I have been watching the tennis - it's pi**ing down again here. Looks like Murray will triumph, but I have been shouting for Raonic.

We have had a constant stream of men in Lycra cycling past today - I've no idea what it's all about but I bet they are going to suffer when they've gone 100 yds past my house - the hill is [B]very[B] steep there!

We're on the route for cycling races too Sue, but it would be much more arduous around your way.

Really good match. Can't believe the sour remarks of people on FPF. Why they watch just to bad mouth people I don't know. Even criticising Judy Murrays face. Gees we can't help the face God gave us!

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

I had been hoping for a gentle shower, just to give my new plantings a wee drink. What do I get? A total deluge that could only be compared with the rains experienced before the launching of the ark!!

Someone on FB said they had seen Christmas chocolates in Tesco!

Morning all. Another grey day................... Must make a cake for the children's tea, casserole already done. Craft club this evening - and we've been promised Pimms. Have a feeling I shall be coming home to a hot cup of tea, it's not exactly warm here.
