There can never be anything on the human head to compare with eyes, I’ve always loved eyes ever since I first saw my Mother smiling down on me as an infant, my Granny’s eyes when she was mixing dough for apple pies, so loving so caring. You learn a lot about a person by looking into their eyes, they are truly the windows of the soul, you can even tell if that person has a soul to begin with. I can tell if the wife is lying just by her eyes and she can tell if I’m doing the same, no matter how you vote, you can have the eyes to the right and the nose to the left, as they say in parliament, the eyes have it every time.Now please tell me what information one can get from a pair of ugly ears, questions perhaps but no answers, old folks like me need our ears to ask questions all the time, WHAT!, what! what did you say? that’s all they’re good for when you get old.
Glistening with joy when cheered
Filled with sadness when blue
All bright when the rain has cleared
God has been good to me, and you.
So smile my dear and complete the set
Light up the room with laughter
You’ll have nothing to regret
And we’ll live happily ever after.
And they did.
