Good morning from Melbourne

Hello,

My real name is Melanie, but I like Bridget better.
I was born in the Uk but emigrated to Oz when I was 10. Been back and forth between the two most of my adult life so I'm a blend of both cultures I suppose.
Two kids, late teens at home and a mildly insane adopted 9 year old staffi/boxer cross.
I like politics and all sorts of general musings about the world,pets,DIY, pretty left wing in a mildly amused way.(too old to get rabid :

Liking the friendliness of this forum..It's so good to see civilized debate.
