Grace
Home for a sleep but I can't get off so thought I'd better get on and let you all know about our Gracie.
Just over a week ago she had a stroke, she had a couple of small Tias during the summer, but we thought the medication had been adjusted and hoped this wasn't going to happen so soon.
It's affected her left side again so her already weakened side is now pretty useless but with physio I'm hoping we can get back some use for her.
She is coming home at the weekend to see if we can care for her, so we are on trial it feels.
Jordan has been given time off, the army are being great so he's here to help.
Nathan is going to take a few weeks off when Jordan goes back so he can be here too.
My husband has handed in his notice and they have refused to accept it and will they say be keeping his job open for him.
So we've got it as covered as we can.
She is hating hospital they put her in a stroke unit full of old people, she loves older people but for a young girl it's a bit boring to be surrounded by so many. We had a rather rough time doing the rounds of the hospitals trying to find her a place so can't complain this one at least had room.
I may not be around much for a while yet as I'm spending as much time with her as I can.
Because her mum died so young from same thing it's all very scary for her and us. But I have to say the consultant has been great and he is going to refer her to a specialist paediatric unit now they have her stabilised.
So ill be back when I can.
