Who ironic that they now lend money to USA and the countries as well as having bases and interests in many Countries World wide

They will definitely continue trading with the UK when we leave the EU

Of course they will Azure I have no doubt about that!
They certainly own more and more of the U.K market everyday and I don't see anything stopping them!

Surge in EU students to beat Brexit fees hike

Students from poorer EU countries clamoured to get a subsidised university place in the UK this year, ahead of the Leave vote, statistics show.
Ucas, the university admissions body, said 8,900 youngsters from the least wealthy European nations began studies at British universities in September.
The figure is three and a half times higher than in 2006 – and some countries saw an increase of nearly 50 per cent on last year.

A Qualifying Majority is needed to get anything through the EU. Member states are still free to use the older system in which 352 votes are distributed as follows:

•France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom: 29 votes each
•Spain, Poland: 27 votes each
•Romania: 14 votes
•Netherlands: 13 votes
•Belgium, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Portugal: 12 votes each
•Austria, Bulgaria, Sweden: 10 votes each
•Croatia, Denmark, Ireland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Finland: 7 votes each
•Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia, Luxembourg, Slovenia: 4 votes each
•Malta: 3 votes

A qualified majority is reached in the Council if the following conditions are met:
•a majority of member states - 15 member states - vote in favour
•a minimum of 260 votes out of the total 352 votes are cast in favour

So it can be seen that poor old Greece has just 12 votes in a total of 352. Thus it's "Voice" is miniscule. to the extent that it has no sway whatsover. Greece would need to find 14 other states willing to keep Turkey out or find 248 votes from other countries in their favour.

If lots of other members voted for Turkey to join the EU then it's tough titty for Greece and any other state who doesn't want that. What then happens is all the countries go bartering with each other. Maybe whilst the UK is still in, it could say that it will vote in favour of Turkey joining unless other member states support BRExit in some way?

Regardless, the entire system is a pile of utter BS. Having to get so many other countries to support any vote is farcical in the extreme and just makes a mockery of the whole process. A process which at no point serves the needs of any individual nation.

This is a key reason the UK needs to , and IS, pulling out of the EU.

http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-...endum-36355138

Once all the existing EU countries agree to admit a new member - and in the case of Turkey countries such as France, Cyprus and Greece have expressed serious reservations - this decision must then be approved by the European Parliament and be ratified by the parliaments of all existing EU states.
Only then can a new country join the EU.
