Looking for friendship

Hi my name is Carol, I'm 58 and newly single.
I have 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren whom I love dearly.
I like the simple pleasures in life. ie walking, crafts, sunshine, beach , music .
I'm hoping to connect with people in my area, to try and expand my very limited social life, its very lonely especially at this time of year.
I live in Devon although I was born in Liverpool, but Devon has been my home for 46 years. And I have to say I would not want to live anywhere else.
Looking forward to hearing from some of you

Hi Carol, welcome to our forum.

My husband's brother & his wife moved from Derbyshire to Devon about 20 years ago.
They love it there & have recently moved from Budleigh Salterton to Sidmouth. I don't think they'll ever come back to their roots.

I am afraid that we don't all live in Devon but I am sure those, who don't, will stop you from feeling lonely by chatting on here.
