Golfers with Buggies ( mobility scooter etc)

All you golfers who use Buggies, get your cash ready. The EU has announced plans to make them have Motor Insurance. This also applies to Fairground Dodgem Cars and childres ride on cars.

Anyone for Brexit?

I hope they'll include mobility buggies......and the UK will adopt the idea.

Hi

They should all have compulsory Insurance, cyclists as well.

It is a nonsense that the costs of any accidents are met by the NHS.

Anything that goes on the road should pay road tax and have insurance imo, including horses.

Those that drive their mobility scooters on the pavement are a danger as are the motorised scooters that kids have.

You don't think accident can happen on these?

Youi can already buy insurance for fairground accidents in the UK:

golf carts? Open topped, driven on uneven surfaces and often with weighted cargo;

Further in remembering the awful incidents of accidents in amusement parks including needing amputation, perhaps carriages in these parks need insuring against too.
Might save the NHS some money...

I would have thought that would have been covered in a third party insurance or/and public liability insurance in the UK. We had both at the kennels

I hope not, i might need one soon. As for golfers, close down all golf courses and turn then into parks and nature reserves, but golfers are not forgotten.

Leave the seaside pitch and puts for them to play on.

Completely agree with you TessA. It might help pay for the cycle lanes that seem to cost a fortune !
