I notice she 'cannot be named for legal reasons' ! Why not - she has admitted her guilt and the man has been named! It also does not say what sentence she was given - she should be birched in my book ! What kind of a sick world are we living in? I do hope the child has been taken into care and she is never allowed access.

They should name this woman, not naming her lets her off in my opinion. Do the authorities think she is bothered about their opinion of her? she isn't not in the least...She would be bothered though if other mums knew especially those in her area life would be made very difficult and rightly so. Not naming her makes me suspect the child is still with her and the anonymity is for the child's sake not for this poor excuse of a mothers. Sickening.

If they say "cannot be named for legal reasons", isn't it usually because the person is either underage or special needs?
