Is it ok if I put a vodka in it?
Just one thing I should mention, this is probably just me but if I drink it before going to bed, I don't get cramp but I do get restless legs which is very annoying; so I tend to drink it earlier in the day.

Re: Night cramps.

Cramping, tightening, and stiffness are often signs of a magnesium deficiency, which is quite common. I personally take 300mgs of magnesium glycinate twice a day. You could start by just taking it at dinnertime to see if that helps (best to take with food), or try an epsom salts bath before bed. Epsom salt is a form of magnesium and absorbing it through the skin can be quite helpful.

Drink more water... sometimes it's dehydration.

Good idea. In fact, drink a lot more.

That will induce you to get up during the night to relieve yourself and, on the way, you can stretch your legs to relieve the cramp.
