Yes OGF, I'm not sure what Obamas motives are? Maybe because he has been labelled weak and ineffective by some he is trying to appear strong? I wish he would pipe down though we can do without it.

I think you may have the wrong idea about Obama, he isn't trying to get up Putin's nose, rather screwing up Donald Trump.

Maybe you are right there rainmaker, but at the expense of the east/west relationship? Not advisable surely who knows?

I think we have more to fear from America than we do from Putin. There always seems to be some hidden agenda with America, at least Putin is 'up front'....

I really must disagree OGF. Whilst in many way what you say about the US is true, Putin has never and never will be upfront.
