Nah much easier to have a good go at the Israelis .
I think there are two main reasons for this.

Firstly, Israel has no oil so politicians tend to suck up to the oil producing states.

Secondly, the young put-the-world-to-rights hear the s***-stirrers and, being unable to think for themselves, do what they are told.

The thread was not about any particular religious group but at the hypocrisy of the UN who ( unbelievably ) have Saudi Arabia as a member of the council of human Rights.
A country that has one of the worst abuses of Human rights sits in judgement on others,

I agree, the UN is a joke, but 79% of members voted for Saudi.

I cannot understand why.

It will be a great day when the oil runs out, or perhaps when a viable alternative is found, as there's nothing else in the middle east worth having.
