New Car Tax Rates
As of the 1st of April 2017, the new CO2 based Tax bands come into force on new cars, what this means in real terms to us is, the Wife has her new car on March 1st, it has an emissions value of 159g/km, the Tax rate for that in March is £180.00 per year, if she waited until April, the first year would cost £500.00, and £450.00 per year for the next 5 years, would this influence you on your choice of new car?Edited, this is the Road Fund Tax, not Tax on the car itself.

My tax is £515 p/a but as I pay by dd its £545.

AArgh, wash your mouth out townie.
Put it on general tax and lower fuel duties.
Lower fuel duties will make our industry more competitive and the high earners will pay for it.
