I quite like spiders......my lad used to have a pink toed (?) Terantula and I'd handle it....no probs..

I've probably squished a lot of False Widows here, no way with those, they seem to like our sun lounge, luckily they don't seem to come in the house proper though, If they are out doors I let them be.

Its all those legs and the speed they run and when you try to get them they disappear.

You spend the next two hours looking at the spot you last saw them.

I don't like spiders because they have too many knees, likewise scorpions.
I don't mind mice, rats or snakes.
If you put a house spider outside they die so no point in doing that really.

That's what they said on a nature programme t'other day. Perhaps that's in winter.
Perhaps yours are fast runners Tiff!
I imagine their friends holding the door open and shouting for them to get in quick!
I think mine got into the shed in summer.
