I have no sympathy

I was reading a paper in a cafe today whilst having a bite of lunch.

It was saying about a number of famous male celebs being in a panic about a mass leak of sex tapes made with glamour models on Skype. One of Olympic gymnast Louise Smith has already been published, as has another of boxer Amir Khan.
All the celebrities in the videos are engaging in 'solo sex acts' while in two-way conversations with female glamour models who are not identified in the online postings.

This is supposed to be how the trap works:

1. Male celebs are approached on social media by profile showing image of an attractive woman.
2. Once celeb and woman follow each other, she sends a direct message suggesting webcam sex.
3. They Skype each other and the call is secretly recorded while celeb performs sex acts.
4. Videos are sent to an anonymus drop box before being uploaded to porn websites.

This porn website has become notorious for its collection of pictures and sex tapes of famous men that have been collected over the years, but the site has now had one of its accounts hacked.



Now I hope this isn't too blunt, but I like to think I am bright enough that if a bloke online asked me to get my drawers off to amuse him, he would stand less chance than a snowman in hell of talking me round. I do not know one single woman who would oblige.
So why do some idiot men always fall for these traps?
I really cannot muster up any sympathy for their predicament now.

Is it really any wonder why it is said that men think with their ***'s? They get caught out time and time again with this sort of thing, or taking unknown women back to hotels then getting blackmailed.

Why do they never learn?

I expectyou're right ruthio, and us not having that makes it hard to understand doesn't it. It seems to over rule common sense completely.
Some of these blokes have probably got families who are going to be so hurt.

Yes....But I think there's a strange sense of cosiness and safety that wraps itself around you when you chat online...I mean look at us now nattering away...It seems very safe and secure and innocent, but what if we start telling one another stuff, secret stuff, then you wake up tomorrow and find our conversation has gone viral?

Yes, the women are deliberately inviting and provocative, they have to be, but why don't the men think what they could be getting into? Nobody forces the men with a gun to their head, do they. They just can't resist, so in that way - yes, I do think they're stupid.

And what about the married ones with families? Why hurt them, and they will be hurt when their husband's are all over the papers in this way.

I know if it was my husband, he'd have a lot more explaining to do than the girl would!
