Further to a previous post, perhaps I should try to explain it in simpler terms.1. Trump is feted and treated to a banquet and red carpet at Blenheim Palace.
2. Trump is nonetheless unimpressed.
3. Trump decides not to agree any trade deal with us.
4. America could have been one of our biggest trading partners.
5. The UK loses out financially.
Do you get it now?
Nothing to do with Brexit. He does what suits the US and not what suits the UK or other countries. There is no predicting what will happen.

Trump will do what suits him. Making him feel valued will make absolutely no difference to the outcome.

Trump has hit the nail on the head with his Brexit comments.I like the way he can cut through the bullshit when dealing with other world leaders.
He's a breath of fresh air in the sycophantic, back-slapping, mutually beneficent world of Western ( so called) Democracies.
He's achieved more as a US president on the World stage in 18 months than the EU , Merkel or Obama has achieved over the past 10+ years.
On a personal level I get the impression he's a total dick.
