Another good link there actually....Bill Bruford of Yes and John Wetton from Asia both played with King Crimson at one time. Funny how all these prog bands tend to be connected in some way!
No, I never got to see ASIA live. Must have been incredible!
And Crimson were great!

Although I don't dislike Yes, they - and prog in general - never really did it for me. I think it's an age thing. I was just 10 in 1976 and was listening to my siblings play the Beatles, Stones, Abba, whatever.

The closest prog that I like is In The Court Of The Crimson King- King Crimson, a couple of Moody Blues albums and some Jethro Tull.

I did try to get into Genesis and Yes, Emerson Lake and Palmer too but never quite could though I don't doubt the quality of the music.

Yes, I can see that. Prob is not everyone's cup of tea. However, I do like most of the bands you mentioned.
