Hi JBR, just looked it up on the Internet and they say that Human Insulin has an Adverse Effects, that's all it says, but there are still some UK Companies that do Pig & Cow Insulin.

over 30 years ago I was on pigs insulin and it was great but they put me on the wrong dose mixture of fast and slow acting so I kept going into Hypos during the night.
They changed me to human insulin, which is ok but given the option, now I know how to adjust the dosage myself, I think I would prefer the pigs.
