Re: Cats Cafe

I love cats, I don't have one anymore, but if we had a cafe like that, I would be in there often.

Re: Cats Cafe

I am not going to comment on this. when cats went missing I tried to help and landed up being a target. so my lips are sealed on this one.

Re: Cats Cafe

There used to be one in Totnes, but I never went in it. I think it's closed now.
Melissa Daley wrote a novel about a cat café titled Molly and the Cat Café. It's a good read, from the perspective of the cat's.

Re: Cats Cafe

Last year, the wife and her friend went to Nottingham and visited the Cat Cafe there. I think it might have been the first in the chain.

More recently, we visited the Cat Cafe in Leeds, which had not long opened. I had had it all explained to me beforehand, so I knew what to expect. I really enjoyed the experience, but then we are 'cat people'.

You are allowed to walk around and stroke the cats who, as has been said, have the run of the place but you are asked not to pick them up.

When the food arrives, you are supplied with a netted cover to place over your food to prevent the cats scoffing it! I soon realised to keep this in place and to briefly remove it in order to access my food - and quickly replace it when cats draw close!

I didn't know there was one in Manchester, though, which would be conveniently close to us. Where exactly is it?

Re: Cats Cafe

My DIL took my eldest granddaughter to the Kitty Cafe in Nottingham for her 8th birthday during the Easter Holiday. She loved it .

We have a Cats Cafe in Bristol called You&Meow, I haven't been tempted to visit there yet.
