Devon folk should know about these nights,19th to 21st May,a chance still for frost,any local tales to other areas?

to be honest,caricature, i dont believe it's the devil's doing,lol,....but i can assure you,here in Hampshire, we have had frost in May,...all be it as i can remember, i had bizzie lizzies in the garden and that darn frost,wiped the lot out,.
