Re: Bad news / good news

Good luck julie. At least you have the best medical treatment one can get.

having health problems makes one fight more and overcomes any fears , that is when ones inner strength takes over.

All I can relate to is my time in hospital 2 years ago when they warned Sue I might not - well you know.

At the time I had no intention other than to get better no matter the excruciating pain I was in and sever weight loss . I was in a really bad way

So Julie be detemined to get better and win. you CAN do it.

Re: Bad news / good news

Hope you had a positive outcome and all the best for the future.

Tomorrow I'm off to see the haemotologist for my 3 monthly checkup after going through Hodgkins Lymphoma in the Summer of 2016, and I'm fine now.

Re: Bad news / good news

Having my first dose of new chemo tomorrow, can't say I'm looking forward to it but sooner I start quicker I'll finish I'm thinking. If I'm not around after it don't worry I'll just be feeling a bit rough and I don't like to inflict myself on you all if I'm feeling like that.

Re: Bad news / good news

Chemo is tough; one infusion caused my arm to sting so badly that they had to administer it more slowly, thus increasing my total time spent there.

Re: Bad news / good news

All the best for tomorrow Julie. The side effects may not be as bad as you expect and perhaps by continuing to post on here it will offer a distraction for you. I know the internet was a lifeline for me when undergoing my chemo, which unfortunately I was unable to complete due to ileostomy problems. So see how you feel, we are here to support you.
