The Yorkshire Pudding Revolution.

Hi

The Yorkshire pud is being updated.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-41361803

I can remember as a kid my Granny making it with herbs and served in gravy as a starter.

She also made it with roasted rhubarb a bit like toad in the hole.

We had that for dessert, with custard.

So do I & a slice of beef in it. I can't make big ones though, but I am ok with the little bun tin ones.

Re: The Yorkshire Pudding Revolution.

There was a pub in Huddersfield that used to serve Yorkshire pudding sandwiches. A yorkshire pudding 12" in diameter with beef and onion and onion gravy, topped with another yorkshire pudding equally smothered in onion gravy and then a portion of chips piled on top!!!

As you all know, I'm no slouch when it come to food, but I must confess this beat me - I couldn't finish it all!!!
