He did say as part of his vows "with all my worldly goods I thee endow". Nuff said?

Let's put it this way, the guys must have it to be forced to part with it. Good luck to the women, we don't know what a raw deal they were dealt.

My husband still pays me after 20 something years. Not on the same richter scale as they are , but always helpful when the bills drop through the door.

Re: 15 years after Divorce

I couldnt be so mean after having a settlement on the divorce ,it says a lot about his wife ,on her own admission she made bad property investment and lost what he gave her .
So why should she be entitled to more ,no wonder shes smiling like a Cheshire Cat, a Greedy madam .No doubt in another decade she will be back for an increase .

Re: 15 years after Divorce

My settlement was a one off payment, end of.
It wasnt cheap but it was final....no comebacks.
She can afford a nice house with no mortgage.
I can rest easy.

There again....she isn't a lazy cash whore like the one in the article.

Re: 15 years after Divorce

We don't know all the facts, but on the face of it it sounds unfair on the bloke.

I think I'd feel so annoyed with the courts (who I can only imagine have some mentally incompetent judges on staff) that I'd give all my money to the local cats' home and sod the greedy woman and her legal supporters.
