Stay positive Steve, if you worry too much that will also affect your breathing. Try telling yourself how lucky you are be given this opportunity of being able to hear again.

Steve they explain to everybody all the things that could go wrong when having an operation... it is a bit like all the potential risks they put on medicine leaflets... they could happen but rarely do. Stop worrying, because you will be back, and I wouldn't post that if I didn't think it was true.
