This is my...'Why is it'....
When we are born and our parents choose to have us christened...people are invited to the christening.
When we have parties...people are invited.
When we get married...people are invited.
Yet when we die..anybody (usually) can come to our funeral and invites aren't necessary! Why Is It?

How strange Art, I had the same idea for a post this morning. (great minds and all that)

Maybe those in the know can offer some answers to the why is its?

Why is it? When you look directly at a distant star, you can't see it too well but if you look just to the side of it, the star becomes clearer?

Yep, tis true and something I wonder too!

Similarly, why is it when you put finger virtually on your eye and see a little 'haze' when you're looking at something, it's always clearer...try that
(I asked the optician once, he told me but I've forgotten - doh!)
