Those three little words
When was the last time you were told you were loved?
I mean actually
told, not just shown in other ways.
Same applies vice versa. Do you actually still say you love someone, or just think 'they ought to know by now!'
The reason I ask is because I was told yesterday, by a group of friends, that they all loved me. It caught me off guard and was so sincere, that I'm not ashamed to admit I filled up.
It got me thinking why it had this affect on me, and I decided it was because I am not used to it. I can't remember anyone saying that to me, and meaning it, since around the late 80's time.
Gives a lovely warm feeling don't it. Perhaps we should say it more often to each other.
