funny story when visiting a pal

This chap was actually my best man at my wedding. I had known him for a good number of year ,so when he had his first child a boy, he was obviously thrilled after his wife had a few miscarriage.
On this occasion when I went round to his place he had just purchased a 2 way walkie talkie with one unit set up in the little boys bedroom.

Now my pal was dead chuffed with this new gadget and couldn't wait to give me a demo as he had just put the little lad to bed
so it went like this

" steven " he said into it. heard nothing back
"steven" again no response

Third time
"STEVEN" my pal said in a loud voice

A little voice popped up " What do you wan't wall"
