From about 1966 we were given a Dansette reel to reel tape recorder, this allowed us to tape anything we liked off the radio.

This lasted until i bought a record player, and from then i bought albums but never singles.

Can't remember the first 45 I bought either. All my records are in the garage, but that's full of spiders
