What's the best thing for mouth ulcers?

I've got these as a side-effect of the chemo and they're pretty sore.

Years ago I heard of something called bonjella - is this still the best treatment?

I use Corsody mouthwash which also good for mouth ulcers.

Yes ive used Bonjella its ok, also used gargling salty water.

I may try the salty water first then get some bonjela from the chemist later (I'll ask their advice, too).

I have Bonjella (Adult 16+ )which I keep in the fridge.

Tincture of Myrrh is marvellous for mouth ulcers.

Just put a little on a cotton wool bud and zapp the ulcer.

the only thing I have found that helps is Adcortyl. You can buy it over the counter. It's like a floury paste that sticks to the ulcer and if you put it on overnight next day you will find it's nearly gone. I'm not sure if it has contra indications which is why it's OTC.

Ffosse, as mouth ulcers are one of the side effects of chemo, I would ask your chemo nurse for advice, she will probably give you something to use.

Ice crushed and put in a thin piece of cloth and applied to the mouth ulcer ...
