Re: Driving theory test...

I did the 10 question test and got ONE wrong - the reversing question.

I answered that the driver should wait for a pedestrian to cross but didn't answer that the drive should also wave the pedestrian on.

Re: Driving theory test...

When i took my driving test way back in 1962 all I did was drive for about 15 minutes using hand signals as well as indicators and answers 3 question ,while in the car with the examiner and passed.
Since then never had any driving conviction-parking fine or anything else.

How many nowadays know how to indicate to a policeman on point duty one wishes to continue to go straight ahead?

Policemen on point duty are rarer than 'Hens Teeth'

But just for the record.....an erect middle finger would suffice....

Re: Driving theory test...

If it is any consolation then children born today will probably never need a driving licence and there will be no driving test.

I was saying that to the Wife and kids, we were in one of the weekly snarl ups a couple of weeks ago and it occurred to me, you never see a copper trying to ease the situation, it's just left to sort itself out, how ever many hours that takes.

Re: Driving theory test...

I've just done the practice test and there are several questions/answers which are vague, confusing or misleading and one question which won't accept the right answer - I won't bother with the full test .....
