Re: runner beans

I'm deeply envious. Not of the beans, but of your other juicy & polished veg. They look like show exhibits.

The green sweet peppers are very shiny, I don't know why, I am used to seeing dull ones in the supermarkets..it's has been an exceptional year for beans and produce from the green house...

Beans look good Rehab.

Did your tomatoes do well?

Did you carry on with the Epsom Salts?

I stopped the Salts, Mups the tomatoes are coming to an end, I am not overly impressed with Shirley this season, I may try another variety next year.

Yes, I stopped spraying too.

I had a lot of fruits on the 'Sweet Aperitif' but 'Sweet Million' hasn't done as well as I'd hoped.
'Shirley' has got some nice big fruits, but the skins are all marked, I must look up what it is wrong.

Re: runner beans

That might be something to do with watering Mups, if you underwater or forget and then give your toms a large amount of water the toms will suck it up and expand quickly splitting the skin...Leaving a a scar? Just a thought. Lol
