I have known children of German POWS who have joined the British Army
Commonwealth citizens may also join if they have lived in the UK for five years .
So even if your nephews were born in Sri Lanka and did know one end from the other they could still join the British Army .
So what exactly is your grievance ?

What part of respect are we not giving to who?It has to be the Muslims .
Muslims can and do join the army IF they are British citizens .
The same as anyone else so how are. They not being treated the same as anyone else ?
It's the same in most of the world Julie it's not a one off .
Apart from the French Foriegn legion most countries require the people charged with defending it to have strong ties of loyalty .
We have a country to be proud of ,or at least we did
That is why thousands of people risk their lives to come here
You who have never lived in a third world Islamic dominated country have absolutely no idea .
Look at the countries full of repression and hatred .
Is that what you want for the UK?
