Re: Cucumbers

The long cucumbers we grow in the greenhouse and the smaller ones we only protect as small plants. By the time they are ready to climb the slugs are seemingly not interested. We had a very late frost at the start of the growing season this year with temperatures down to -5°c and I don't think a lot of the slugs survived.
