Re: Angry rant I'm afraid

That's what worries me swim I'm not as fit as I was I very much doubt if I'd been there not Nate I wouldn't have managed to get her back.

I must say Nate never hit anyone, I'm proud of him for that, but he did insist on her giving the details he wanted so we can find her with the bill.

Hi

You are a Quaker Julie and I respect that.

I am not.

There are no Quaker Enforcement Officers.

I have met Quakers, medical staff, abroad, much braver then me.

I do like to protect myself.

I can respect that I just know it's not in me or my husband.

Re: Angry rant I'm afraid

What a terrible thing to happen
Why of why can't these irresponsible dog owners keep their dogs on leads.

Chloe has issues with other dogs having been attacked twice when on the lead by off lead dogs. She feels she has to growl a warning to strange dogs and I don't blame her.

Luckily I don't meet many other dogs when walking in the fields.

I hope Betty will be ok Julie, she must be traumatised and in shock. Try to stay calm yourself, you don't need the stress it can affect your recovery.

Re: Angry rant I'm afraid

Julie, this is shocking, especially as you yourself are recovering from surgery, and the poor little mite has lost all those teeth!! I hope she doesn't get too stressed now, because this must be so traumatic.

I can believe the vet and your family being angry: I'm angry for you! This is the last thing you need right now.

I hope she will be ok. Sending hugs!

Hi

I can agree with that Julie.

I do not think that Quakers are cowards, I actually think that they are much braver than me.

I was often scared out of my head, so the others go down first.

Re: Angry rant I'm afraid

So sorry to read this Julie, and trust your little one will make a good recovery.

I love all animals, but am now very wary of dogs, and firmly believe they should all be kept on a lead.

Fingers crossed for your little one

Re: Angry rant I'm afraid

Thank you everyone my husband has just gone to pick her up from the vet, she had a dislocation not a break or crack, so they put her jaw back into place while she was asleep, it's going to be sore and no chewing for a couple of days, so chicken soup it is.

Vet has written a letter to go with the bill explaining his anger at the damage done by someone that should have had their dog under control. Explaining what a lovely character she is and how that can change after a situation like this.
