There could be good news today as TianTain Britain's only Panda is pregnant and could even give birth today.

I was listening to this on radio last night very exciting ! They are so tiny when they are born.

Thankyou for replying Julie, when I looked in earlier and saw no replies I was a bit bothered.
Don't people realise that our mascara factories will be laying off workers if the panda's all die off😀😀😀

Oh ! This was from when they brought the pandas over from China, What a long way for a bit of rumpy !
Lovely news, but I doubt China will lose their pandas, they just take lions and bears from every where else.

They are so tiny it' surprising the mums don't squash them.

When this baby is born if only stays here two years then goes back to China, its part of a breeding programme, and they don't want grandad or grand mother breeding with next generation.

They said on the lunchtime news that they are not 100% sure she is pregnant, but if she is she may give birth today or maybe not until towards the end of next month even.

I wonder why it is so difficult to know for sure?
Would it be because they can't sedate her and scan her?

The babies are so small and panda are a little on the fat size so they can't get good scan pictures.
