Re: Goodbye Kermit

I loved them. As for the frog, well that is life.
I look forward to seeing more.

Too many cameras according to Mrs Oy

These were taken with a Nikon D800 with Nikon 300mm F4 lens and x1.4 Teleconvertor.

"Really good model" depends on a lot of factors such as... what you intend to photograph, where you're at in your photography, your budget.... etc.
Thanks. I looked it up and it's a little pricey compared with my trusty sony compact!

What would you recommend as a good starter camera for serious photography? One that you can attach lenses to and use in all settings. I want to get more into photography and do a course but the sheer choice of models and features is making me dizzy.

Re: Goodbye Kermit

Any of the entry level DSLRs would fit the bill.

Here's Nikon's latest offering.

Or maybe something similar but 2nd hand.

Brilliant shots of Heron & frog, Mister_Oy.
Reminds me of a cartoon I saw.

Poor old froggy. Me and Herons don't get on.

Great set of pics though.
