You wouldn't make a fool of yourself Foxy but it's a few more miles than you're used to these days. Let me know if you decide to run it and I'll watch for you going passed.

Re: Bob's Bits.

Just returned from a splendid eight miler out in the country. Blimey! what a difference from last weeks ball ache........ After a steady start I was soon in the zone and what was supposed to be a six mile run turned into an eight mile run, I felt so strong it was a no brainer as I approached the turnoff......

Was it Kevin the physio's work that had finally made the difference.......
Was it the cooler, fresher conditions [although still 20 degrees C and 40% humidity]
Was it the slow pace I did on Sunday's ten miler......
Or could it just have been down to the fact that I've cut down on me medication....

Whatever it was it has put the enjoyment back into this mornings outing.....

I'll keep you posted on my decision [Or Mrs Foxes] to run the Bridlington Half Val....

Re: Bob's Bits.

Pleased to hear you had a good run today Foxy. Its definitely been cooler today which must help. Wondering if you've ever used KT tape, daughter called over the weekend, she'd been out for a run and it was too hot for her so she cut it short (I'm pleased she seems to be getting more sensible as she gets older). She proceeded to peel off loads of coloured tape from her knee and ankle, said it enabled her to run without pain from her injuries! Magic!

The final curtain and many happy memories for you and your wife to recall after the tears, Bob.

Thanks Mags, got the major obstacle out of the way, let's hope the happy memories of FIL stay with us and not make us sad. He wouldn't have wanted that.....
